lack of power??

Hi all, have small problem, laser all of a sudden seemed to have no force... so i have had a lot of use and assumed it was the tube. Just changed it, same problem. it behaves as if using too low setting on power, ie aluminium tags are only lightly marked, wood engraves but even on 100% at 10mm it just darkens the wood???
Hope it is something stupid or i have to return lots of deposits:mad:

Check your optics first
then check the power supply to the tube.
