Here are a few pens I have been playing around with. The woods are Osage and Holly and the Brick one has some cherry tossed in for fun. The color will have more jump as the Osage turns color making the Holly stand out more.
Oh---the Celtic Knot----is done with real Ivory.
Dang shame it slipped out of shape a tad----I hate it when that happens:)

Nice looking pens. I like the wood combo, and you're right about it getting better over time.

Very cool Gary! They look like they took forever to build. What kit is that?

John we aint going to talk about the sanity of making the blanks. The kit is a Sierra.
The big trick----you make about a dozen at a time.

Gary, you have taken segmentation to a much higher level!! Nice work!

Segmenting larger turning pieces is a pain in the neck. Segmenting pens would be the pits of all...
I have the utmost admiration for you who have the patience for it. :D
