Small Gloat and alot of patience

So finally after about a year of bidding on #7 and #8 Stanley planes and watching them go well out of my price range, I finally found one on the bay that ended in the middle of the night and got a Type 7 #8 today for $35. Sorry I just had to tell some people that would appreciate the hours that I have put into trying to get one at a decent price.

I can't wait for it to show up, clean up the rust, sharpen and start making curlies.

I haven't even seen one at flea market this year, much less one with a good price. Accept for the one that got bought 2 minutes ahead of me, arrgh.

That is a good price. Looking forward to the before and after pics. I rarely bid on ebay items as someone always snipes the item at the end. Very frustrating.
