I happened to find his full site right after I posted the video. He definitely has an inventive mind. He's also able to get things done a lot faster than I can.

The lathe had come with this gigantic 1.5 hp, 3500 RPM 220 volt motor - way overkill for a lathe. So I used an old 1/2 HP motor I had picked up from the curb.


very cool site and alot of creative solutions but oh so very wrong about power on a lathe :D
