Good Morning Everyone,

Well, my biggest accomplishment for the weekend and a couple of days before that is a successful disaster recovery exercise for one of our customers. The DRE was in Philly and it's just as hot there as it is here....or at least it seems that way. Actually the exercise started on Thursday morning for a cutoff time of 56 hours. It helps to have a good bunch of folks (7 of them) to help make it a success in within the 56 allotted hours.

Woodworking wise, the doctor friend of mine came and picked up the Tiger Wood table that I repaired for him and that is now out of my shop. The LOML has been trying to clean up my shop for me some, but it's such a mess that it will take all of us to get it back clean and organized.

This year my shop has been shared with tiller repairs, lawn mower repairs, servicing the various lawn tools I have as well as servicing my motorcycle.

Well, that's it for me (except for some reports and documentation that I have to do for the DRE we just finished.

So, what did YOU do that past weekend??

Best of weeks to you all.

The only thing remotely woodworking related I did all weekend was take some measurements for trim I still owe my parents for their kitchen. The lumber has been uh--aclimating in my shop--yeah that's it acclimating--for several months. Other than that it was driving to PA with my mom, wife, and daughter so they could go to my SIL's baby show and visiting with her family and my brother. On the way home we stopped on the west side of Cleveland on the way home to visit some long-time family friends then went to my parents' house for dinner. Made a Sunday evening trip to Menards to buy a couple new ceiling fans so I have installing those to look forward to this evening, and to Target to pick up a new netbook--At >$300 I wasn't interested. At $250 I was gaining interest. At $199.99 as advertised in their ad yesterday I could no longer resist! It will be handy for trips like this weekend when I'd like to have a computer but don't want to haul a computer. And for quick work trips where I'm just going to a meeting and don't need my high-powered, huge screen, heavy laptop.

I sold (6) of my rustic tables and (4) cutting boards :D

As long as I dont add up all the 'learning curve' time, it was worth it.

5 Pallets of sod down.

Looked at my temporary shop and decided it was too messy to start my next project and didn't have the energy to start cleaning... :(

Picked up our older daughter from camp and I had my 35th HS Reunion. No woodworking OR equestrian activity...but after we got back, I did clean up the basement under the 250 year old portion of our home since it got trashed from installing the new sub-floor just above it.
