In addition to the bullet pen I also managed to turn a few slimlines.
I am not sure what kind of wood this was but it was nice. It had pink veins running thru it. It came in grab bag of exotics I picked up from PSI a few weeks ago.

This one is plain old oak from my shop cut offs.

Not real sure about this one either. In blank form it looked like maple with some brown sap wood but the brown turned green when cut on the lathe. It is probably poplar because it was pretty soft but did have some interesting grain.
