Where can I go for wholesale acrylic and delrin. I am talking sheets.
I have a Tapp Plastic down the road from me here in Northern California they are expensive as they are resellers.

what is great about Tapp is they have remnants for samples.

I buy local when I can but Delvies has everyone here beat, even considering shipping costs.

I tried Delvies based on SMC recommendations and had very bad experience with them. I will never order from them again.

Calsak Plastics has been very professional and reliable.

If you have a Calsak nearby, they have the best prices on full 4x8 sheets.

Just be careful, they sell a less expensive cast black that's made in Indonesia in plain brown wrap that cuts with a dull edge, and engraves with much less contrast. May be an option for some jobs, but not for others.

Mike,
What happened at Delvies? I have bought from them several times and found them to be very professional and have high quality products.

Andrew, which city are you in? I may have some material.

Also, Tap will sell whole sheets at reasonable prices.

Gary,

I have posted my experiences in the past and had my post edited to remove the content, so apparently it's not okay to post. All I can say is I will never order from them again.

Mike,

It depends on how you say it, not what you say, that gets posts edited...

I Use TPI (Total Plastics Inc.) for acrylics. They have a $75 minimum order, but per sheet they are relatively inexpensive and have great customer service. They also carry just about any plastic you can think of.

Total Plastics is my supplier. I have to travel a little to get the sheets, but the prices are the lowest I have found in my area; and that justifies the 45 minutes on the road.

Normally the best price is for full sheets, 4'x8'. Some places will cut to your laser bed size free of charge, call first and ask because some places will charge per cut or a flat per sheet charge to cut.

When you buy smaller pieces and have them shipped it's usually going to cost more. Make sure you give them your resale license # and get the wholesale price and no tax.
