Help. Has anyone designed storage area to attach to a sloped wall?

I have allocated the "1/2" portion of a 2-1/2 car garage for my workshop, but have run out of storage space. I have already used the area above the garage doors and the entire back wall, but need more space.

The only remaining unused surface is the 30-degree sloped ceiling running the entire 20' length of the garage. Even allowing for head clearance, there is at least 2-3 feet of usable space there that would be perfect for storing long thin things (wood, clamps, straightedges, levels, Festool rails).

I thought about putting something together with some combination of wood, angle irons, and metal wire, but wondered if anyone more creative has come up with something to use that type of space.

Thanks

Steve

Be careful with how you attach to that wall. You may put more stress on the ceiling than it can handle.

I use the trusses in my shop roof for lumber storage, but they are oversized. I am careful about the weight and try to avoid placing point loads on them.
