I had my calendar marked for a PBS turning program starting tomorrow (7/15), but it doesn't show up on the guide. Was it here I saw the thread? Search=no results. Can anyone point me to the thread? TIA!

The show I watch is called "The Woodturning Workshop" with Tim Yoder. I'll see if I can find the thread.

Jamie....perhaps this is the thread? http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=143450

Tim Yoder just posted about it on the AAW form. His show goes on the air starting July 15

The local PBS stations don't broadcast all of the PBS programs. The one out of Dallas which I get has a problem fitting any actual programs into the begging schedule.

PBS has a subchannel called "create". It's not available on DirecTV AFAIK:(

Thanks folks. "Create" channel rings a bell. But I seem to remember KCTS (one of the Seattle area PBS channels) being mentioned too. I'm checking now to see if we get Create, have to re-boot the cable box. Darned thing flakes out a couple time/week.

KCTS 9-3 (broadcast) is carrying the program at 8 AM (it just ended) , 2 PM, 8 PM and 2 AM (Friday)

To check which channel KCTS-Create is carried on your local channel look here (http://kcts9.org/tvschedule/channels) (and scroll down to the Create section)
----EDIT----
Jamie, I just checked and BI is Comcast, which means 9-3 without the box and 112 with

If you have Comcast, you can search TV listing (and maybe even program your DVR)here: http://www.fancast.com/tv-listings

The channel and times Ralph listed are correct.

It looks like the second episode will play on the 20th, and the third episode on the 22nd.

In my area, the shows alternate time slots every other week.

First week was Thursday (today) and a repeat on Friday
Next week is Tuesday with a repeat on Wednesday

Then the cycle repeats like this.

So if you're recording the series, make sure your recorder takes into account that the shows may not be in the same time slot every week.
