Never met an Aussie Burl I didn't like. This one's Coolibah, 7 5/8" x 6 1/8" x 1 5/8".

Just to make it interesting the entire piece was turned using only Blue Tape and Hot Glue for a chuck.

I agree with you 100% on the Aussie burls, and you've done a nice job with this one.

I'll now be forced to carry out my plan to secure an off balanced piece with chewing gum and twine woven from my own hair in order to take away the testosterone turning title.

I surely like this one!! Blue tape and hot glue? Yep, as John says, "you got guts"...

Actually, John, the blue tape and hot glue holds pretty solid. I did the outside first, and I had a heck of a time getting the piece loose from the tape and glue.

I would have bolted that gorgeous piece of wood to a 3/4 inch piece of ply HAHA what a lovely piece. Grand job
