The clear plastic bag at the bottom of the filter just sprung a leak; is there a quick replacement, or do I need to order from Griz? Thanks,

I just use a large yard trash bag. Because that's what I had on hand.

My concern was that the pressure on the bag might rip through a garbage bag, but it sounds like the thicker ones handle it just fine. Thanks, as I'll just put a garbage bag on it.

Its not all that much pressure there. Slip a yard bag inside the old bag as additional support. If someone at your house sews, have them make you a cloth bag; you can slip any old plastic bag that will fit inside of that and move on. ;-)
