As I putter along, I make small increments of progress. The latest is to get the output duct assembled, and then wrapping the pipe in duct insulation. Just the attaching of the output pipe to the filter box reduced the shop noise from 102 db down to 92 db. The addition of the duct wrap reduced the noise by another 2 db. The noise is almost reasonable now that I have the front panel on the filter box. :cool:

Thanks for the shots. My next install is a cyclone DC. What are you going to use for ducting in the system? Source?

Ted, I am using 6" PVC pipe. I bought it at Locke Supply along with a truck load of fittings. This last week I moved the shop thermostat to the left one stud-width to allow room for the PVC to come down the wall. As I move along I will post other pictures. :)
