Hi
I am looking for a good blade for breaking down sheet goods. The one I have now leaves a very rough cut. Any recommendations for a blade which will leave a smooth cut.
Many thanks
Gil

And they are cheap, $20, they do make a very good cut.

Freud Diablo carbide tooth blades have worked well for me. 60 tooth for about $20 US, 40 tooth for about $15.

Ditto. i use the same blade in my circular saw for sheet goods, cutting entry/passage doors to size, etc. Works great with a simple shop made edge guide that acts as a ZCI on the keeper side.

Wow
That was quick. Thanks a lot, I will pick one up.

The Diablo is a decent blade but if you want a better finish and more re-sharpenings get the Freud Industrial LU79. You can get an almost chip-free cut, about the only way you will get better with a circular saw is a tracksaw with a zero clearance insert.
