Beautiful work. Not being a turner, it amazes me how you can achive such a great piece without destroying it with all the interupted cuts caused by the voids in the material. How do you do that?

"Nasty, dry and dusty." Ahhhh, but you forgot exquisite, beautiful and striking! :) That's just wonderful, Anthony! :) Pretty gutsy piece, I'd say and, one which you pulled of in great fashion! :)

Nice smile... :D ...and a wink... :D ...isn't it amazing at the "character" some turnings exude?? (Great job, Anthony!)

Thanks all, I wasn't happy with the whole process, major tearout, 60 grit bowl gouge and the top didn't come out the way I was hoping. The shape came from a show on the Spanish channel, I didn't know what they were saying but they kept showing ladies carrying pots on their heads of this shape.

Very nice Anthony! All you need to do is paint a smiley face on it to go with those eyes!
Are you working on learning Spanish?
