Edge Lit sign bases and mounts

I had been messing around with edge lit signs. I have the acrylic and led part down, but i have no clue how to mount them for a tabletop freestanding or hanging sign. I'm ok with woodworking, but not nearly good enough to make my own and the guy i had making some for me is flaky at best. Im ready to start offering them, but this is the last piece of the puzzle. Where do you guys get them at or what do you make them out of?

Use the search tool for edge lit signs and for led lights. There have been a number of posts on the subject.

When you find the posts and pictures look for the mounting method of using 2 pins to keep the acrylic from smashing into the LED's.... Pretty cool....

Also for LED's.... Look for "Reel LED's" on eBay for reels of flat LED's you can cut every 3 and use a 12 volt transformer to power it.
