raster problem

I have an Epilog mini Heilx with a 18X24 work area, I noticed the other day I was rastering some rather large font and the lines are wavy, the letters look distorted. I noticed that it only happens on the right side of the table I am able to raster on the left side without any problem so at this point I have been forced to flip the work over and do all the engraving in two stages from the left side of the work area.
Has anyone ever had this sort of problem? I hope it's a simple fix.

Check for loose optics (mirrors and lens), then check for snug belts. My bet is on loose optics as the farther away the carriage is from the left side, the more a wiggling mirror would effect the beam...
