I made a jewelry holder for rings earrings bracelets and what-knots. What do you guys think? I'm kinda proud. Its out of cocobolo. One of my favorite woods. I haven't measured it but I thinks its around 5&1/2 inches in diameter.

Jenn,

No pictures showed up for this post, so I could not see your jewelry holder :(

Maybe you could re-post :)

I screwed up adding the pictures. I edited it. Should be fine now. Thanks, still learning the ins and outs of posting pictures.

I think it's beautiful. You should be very proud of that one. Maybe my wife would let me buy a hunk of cocobolo if she saw what it could become. Hmmm....

I agree it is very nice. I've not see a jewelry holder like this. It has a very nice form and I reall like this double bowl approach. A work of art to hold other works of art.

Jenn, you should be proud. This is an excellent piece of workmanship!! I've never seen one like this, either, but I may copy you, if you don't mind.
I make some smaller ones with a candle-flame finial on top, but I've never made one that looks as good as this one. Exquisite!! Form and finish!:)

Nice work Jenn, I have made a few ring and jewelry holders before, never thought about making a second bowl around it, looks good :D

Here are a couple of pictures of some I made, no Cocobolo though, just some Elm and Maple for the wood.
