I made another small segmented bowl in a full brick pattern.

The piece is made of walnut and maple, measures just over 2” tall and 2.25” in diamter and has 166 pieces in it.

This has turned out to be one of my favorites. Thanks for looking.

Mike

that is just wonderful.... nice and shiny and the segments are just the right size...

my segmented pieces tend to be very segmented. They start out as solids pieces of wood then the lathe segments them for me...lol

Very nice piece anyway...

Michael, I honestly just don't see how you guys do this stuff! That is a small turning - if done with a solid piece of wood! To glue up 166 pieces of wood that small is just beyond my abilities.

Nice work!

That is a mighty fine looking bowl. Like the wood combo.

Yeah...I just love the smallness of it...coupled with the idea that you glued all that together. You are a better man than I sir.:)

That is just... well... cute. Sorry but that's the only word I can come up with. I'm with the lawyer on this one... there is no way I would attempt that!

Nicely done. Where did you find an eight inch quarter?:D

I'm floored with your patience... I start to get antsy just thinking about all those little pieces.

Very nice! You know you got the proportions just right when a person can not determine size without help!

Great form, joinery and wood combination!

Keep up the good work!
