I have a request to laser tungston. Can I use Cermark with the same results as stainless steel?

I can't see a problem with it, though I've never tried myself. Is it pure tungsten, or tungsten carbide?

I'm certainly no expert, but I thought I've read that the thermal conductivity of the material plays a large part in success with Cermark. I did a quick Google search and found that the thermal conductivity of tungsten is closer to aluminum than SS which makes me believe you won't get a great mark. At least I don't get good marks on Aluminum.

Just my $.02

I have marked some tungsten carbide tooling with cermark and the recommended settings for stainless with great results.

Tungsten is great for Cermark. I lasered about 300 poker chip sized pieces and they turned out really nice. It was a while ago and I didn't save the settings, but I think I ran them slower than stainless but faster than aluminum.
