To place the rescued cats, the ASPCA and Elk County Humane Society will be hosting a special, last-minute two-day adoption event (http://www.aspca.org/adoption/elk-county-cat-adoption-event.html) over the 4th of July weekend at the Elk County Fairgrounds in Kersey, PA. More than 100 friendly, vaccinated, spayed or neutered cats and kittens will be available for adoption on Saturday and Sunday.
