Well there I was scrounging nasty ole oak planks that no one wants anymore, when the guy walks up and ask, "Do I need a planer?" Huh .... "What cha got?" I asked. He say 40.00 and it yours. As the story unfolds seems that it was ordered a few years ago and was damaged in shipping. The PO got a full reimbursement so it's been getting passed around from friend to friend with only 2 small boards run through it since. :D

This will come in handy when I start the flooring job. Dualing planers can ya here the banjos yet! :cool: Anyone think the crack in the cover will effect form, fit, or function?

A little super glue and you won't even notice it is cracked. That was a nice find and you was in the right place at the right time.

I understand that it is a lesser model, especially when you put up against my older Delta. For 40.00 it can blow up for all I care, after I'm done with the flooring.:)
