Hi guys, I recently picked up a 5hp Grizzly DC. Actually I Made two adriondack chairs and a serving table for a trade. What I am looking for is a premade or custom manifold. I need to go from a 9" male on the suction side to 2- 6". if anyone knows where or how, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Reed

Oneida catalogs a 9x6x6 'Y' adapter. One leg is straight through, the other at 45°. Should plug into the inlet of your DC. Depending on what you're connecting to you may need adapters on the inlet (6") side.

Reed,
Another source is Spiral Manufacturing - http://www.spiralmfg.com (http://www.spiralmfg.com/). They either have your manifold or can make it in short order. After chasing all the necessary components for a spiral pipe collection system, I found them to be the cheapest of the major suppliers - Oneida, Air Handling Systems, etc. Could be because they are the manufacturer!

Go to any HVAC contractor, and have them give you a lead to a sheetmetal shop they use to get their duct work... I've had stuff made for a lot less than the manufacturer or distributor of your tool would sell them to you... Also, you should stay away from plastic fittings, pipe and such as they generate static/magetism and causes your system to work a little harder. If you do use plastic, attach a static wire inside...
