Anyone know of any Woodturning shows on Canadian TV?
Or US Channels that we get here (Rogers Cable)?

The only show I have found is New Yankee Workshop which
airs here on HGTV (Home & Garden TV).

That's very good but it is mostly on woodworking. He did a bit of
turning last week (he sure turns fast - I know, I know, it's edited - LOL!)
but was wondering if there are any other shows that I have not
come across yet.

Thanks,

James :)

There is a turning show on DIY (Dave Hout, I believe), but I don't know the schedule.

James -

Can you get D-I-Y Network? If so there is a program called "Woodturning Techniques". David Hout is the instructor with different students each week.

Thanks!

Don't think we get D-I-Y Network. I get a lot of channels, except the
Pay Per View and a bunch in the HDTV section.

What does D-I-Y stand for?

And is it a PBS type channel or national one?

DIY is "Do It Yourself" network.... diy.com. It's not PBS and is advertiser supported, just like HGTV.

Thanks!

Will have to check through all the listings to see where it might be
on the dial. I only have 999 channels to go through. LOL!

It has been airing Saturday mornings... So far they have turned a natural edge bowl, made a pen, candle holder, and some jewelry (bangles and earings). Not sure what is up next, but have been enjoying the show :D

They were coming on every week night at 7:00 ET but all of a sudden that stopped. It figures that would happen that I have a lathe. :(
