Bowl is about 10” round by 8” deep and a 1/4” thick. bowl was finished with 3 costs of lacquer. This bowl was turned in a session with one of my students. He got to take the bowl home with him to give to his wife. hope they enjoy the bowl. all comments welcomed.

That is a big ol' bowl and very nice! The osage will really develop a beautiful color over time.

Nicely done with one of my favorite local woods.

I agree with the rest... I love Osage... but I still call it Bois d'Arc... can't help it.
It's awesome wood.
And that bowl will be the prettiest bowl in his house, before too long.

Really nice bowl and wood choice. I like osage and enjoy how the color looks okay then when lacquer hits it the orange just seems to pop out..

I have a osage pen blank down stairs and I think I hear it calling.

Thatis a fantastic looking bowl.

Bois D'arc is one of my favorites. I have had 2 custom longbows built with Bois D'arc and purple heart. To me the colors go well together.

Maybe a bowl with the 2 of 'em will be in the future
