Has anyone seen one of the saws shown in the first part of this video?

I just stumbled on this trying to find out more info on the new Bosch sliding saw. This thing -- the GTM 12? -- looks incredible. I almost wish I hadn't just bought the 4100...

Wow, that TS/CMS is cool! I can see trim carpenters lining up for that one. Have you seen this one?

The GTM12 does look like something some tradesmen would love!

Looks like it is in Europe. UL approval will probably keep it from coming to the US anytime soon.

Cool saw, though...thanks for sending the link to the site!

Kelly, I got a glimpse of that somewhere else too... Now that is one slick saw! Wonder how much it's going to be, and when it will be available. edit: (Well duh... I just read it... It's late, I must need some sleep or something)

Yes, it looks like the table saw/miter saw combo is only sold in Europe. I did some googling and all the hits were UK etc. Too bad, that's a very nice tool.

On the new Bosch "slider", yes, that's the tool I was trying to research when I came across the TS combo machine. Apparently not on the market at all yet. Looks nice, though -- no need to have all that space behind it for the sliders...

Pretty cool ideas. Fora guy who has to haul his saw to the job, that offers some interesting trade-offs. I could see that meeting some folks needs to a T.

Personally I think it's terrifying. You KNOW someone is going to take the guard off and take off their hand. Or not lock it down properly to the base and have the whole thing tip forward onto them with the blade running.

I'd much prefer the Skil flooring saw.

The combo miter/table saws have been around for at least 20 years by various makers and have been exclusive to the European market.

http://www.norsaw.co.uk/ This is a great builders saw. Have seen a few in the US
