I made this just for fun, gave it away before getting a picture but the recipient sent these snapshots.
The mullberry turned cleanly and I was suprised at how translucent it was. I turned the inside first and used a clamped flashlight to help judge the wall thickness. It is ~1/8" thick at the bark and at the bottom of bowl with most of the wall section being ~3/32".
4" diameter x 12" high

Dennis, looks very neat, though the pics are pretty small. Nice form and color.

Nice goblet. Looks challenging to get the stem that long and thin.

Neat!! It reminds me of a flower I've seen...but for the life of me, I can't remember its name.

Nice looking goblet. I had just looked this week at how to turn a goblet out of green wood and am still in the thinking stage. I got some ornamental cherry a couple of weeks ago and then Monday and Tuesday got a Bradford Pear tree with a bunch of small limb and trunk section that could be used. You have been missed at the Tyler East Texas Woodturners meetings recently and hope to see some of your work at the next meeting.
