Cherry Burl Platter

Cherry Burl Platter finished green but has moved very very little in the last three weeks since it's come off the lathe. Finish is Walnut oil. Measures 18"

Very nice. The natural edge is a wonderful touch. I hope it continues to stay flat for you. I'll bet that's an impressive piece in person at 18"!

Thanks for the comments. The blank was just over two inches when I started. I have five more similar to this one but I decided to dry the blanks for them first so it will be a while before I get to turn them.
