Sean, really nice bowl. I like the soft rolled rim - goes with the finish and suits the form of the bowl very well.

Thanks, John. The rim is about twice as thick as the walls and bottom. I wanted a strong rim that was nice to grip, but a bowl that was lighter than the rim would have suggested. It was a nice piece of cherry - attractive and easy to turn - not to mention, very reasonable from eBay!

I think the label on that pint of cherries did boast that they were from Washington! Your state's growers did a great job on that batch. Thanks!
