I'm looking to buy some new transfer tape to apply to sheets of plastic. I ordered some about 4 years ago from American Biltrite (TransferRite # 782U). Does anyone know of any other good transfer tape suppliers or products (would prefer it to be along the east coast & perhaps midwest if possible)? Just curious...

Any wholesale sign supplier in your area will carry transfer tape. It's a staple for them.

Thanks Mike. Actually I was thinking of doing that with one of our customers who is a sign shop. I was just wondering what other places may be out there as well...

Because of the weight for shipping, it's always best to by it locally unless it's just a 6" wide roll. The best prices is a full 48" log cut to your specified sizes
but if you are not doing vinyl that may yellow and lose it's adhesion before you use it up.

Sorry I don't know anyone out your way, but we have 5 local sign supplies here in the Seattle area so you must have some.

Sign Supply USA will sell you any width. So will Tubelite.

A lot of sign shops will have roll ends, that are just about useless to them. My neighbor gives me all hers. Plus she got me a 12" wide roll of heavy tack for cutting parts from quarter sheets of engraving stock..When the parts are cut, I just leave the transfer paper on as a protective sheet

FindTape.com has worked well for me.
