I had alot of thick heavy white oak, so Im making a few pieces with it.
First one, is this hall table.
Used mahogany trim, spun the drawer handle, and made my first dovetail drawer. I used the extra maple flooring I had left over to make the drawer. And a piece of striped mahogany I ruined from the bedroom set, planed it down and it made a nice drawer front.
BlO, followed by one coat polyurethane for a glossy finish on top. Wife preferred the shine.
