Hey all.
I need to mount some new drawer slides in my mother-in-law's kitchen. The drawers were originally built to be used with center mount slides. However, cheap slides were originally installed and they now need to be replaced. I have been using the Accurides on her bathroom drawers, but her kitchen drawers are quite a bit heavier. The center mount slides are only rated to about 35 lbs, so my question is, could I mount a pair of these rails on her kitchen drawers to spread the weight distribution on the rails? I can't easily modify the drawers to accommodate side rails - or corner rails - without really tearing into them. Have you ever seen twin center rails on a drawer? (of course, they wouldn't exactly be called center rails any more, would they...:rolleyes:)
