Hey Folks, Here is my latest project. My daughters birthday is tomorrow (9 years old) and this is my gift. It is made from some Hack-berry and walnut that i milled myself from some logs that I saved from the fire. I love making something so wonderful out of wood that people were going to burn. This shows my wife that all the logs I bring home (and I do bring home a lot) can be turned into something useful. The velvet was not too bad to do but going into the crafts store and to the fabric isle no doubt was lets say a little weird feeling. I am 6’3” and 250 lbs and I’m looking for velvet. Oh well for a good cause. Thanks for looking any comments and criticisms are welcome. This is the first one of many of these type boxes I think. Next will be all sanded crazy like Andy’s boxes. Have fun and keep the chips flying.
