Two years ago I bought a Delta Contractors Saw with 30" Beisemeyer, from Amazon, for $580 delivered. That was half the list price, and the following day the price jumped to $900.

At the same time I paid $150 for a Delta TP400 Planer, from a pawn shop. It was brand new :)

Last month I responded to a Craigslist ad for a Delta DC-380, 15" Planer. They wanted $600.

When I got there, the sellers also had a Delta Unisaw Platinum. That has the 50" Beisemeyer, and mobile base .... it is only 10 years old. They were asking $750.

I got both the machines for $1000, and sold the Contractor Saw for $650, and the small Planer for $150.

All in all .... not too shabby :)

Pictures added of the Unisaw and Planer. Planer is in bits because the blades are at the sharpeners until Monday.

I put it on Craigslist for $695 ....

It did look very nice, almost like new once cleaned up a little. The guy was very happy with it. It was gone inside 36 hours, with several inquiries.
