Hi: I have uploaded a new video series to Youtube about turning a small bowl from a cube mounted diagonally. The playlist is available at: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=558E69879B132D9B

I haven't added annotations yet and will be away for the weekend so hopefully I will get some in next week.

The bowl was turned from Honey Locust:

Nice work. Doesn't Mark St Leger turn something similar to this? A small, lidded box?

You know, I have to say I think this is pretty awesome. I say that because I really appreciate how your videos represent what I consider "excellence in woodturning." Personally, I find that you challenge me to not settle for even the slightest flaw in my technique. That's the kind of woodturning that gets me all fired up and ready to hit the shop to improve my "moves".

Thanks again Bob. Keep 'em coming!!

Thanks for the videos Bob. I appreciate seeing someone doing the little things that have to be done to make a fine finished product. You are a big help on technique too. I have to work on my shear scraping with my bowl gouge. I noticed that you are using a much higher angle than I do.
