I broke my bandsaw blade so I decided since it was raining yesterday i would work on cutting up a bunch of crotch wood. I ended up with about double what you see here

I am almost done with the spalted persimmon and its drying

The sun was back out today so I jumped on some Oak and Ash. They were slabbed mainly 2 inches thick, but i also cut out a few 1 inch boards as well. The drying time sure sucks but once its ready for me to use it will be rewarding to know I did it from start to finish.

Ken, that is way too much wood for one woodturner - please feel free to ship a load to me to get it out of the way. I will pay half the shipping - it is the least I can do!:D:D

Neat setup with the chainsaw mill!

John, if you'd send me your address, I'd like to send you a piece of this persimmon before its all gone just to see what you make out if it!

Many times I have wished I had a chainsaw mill like that. Nice pile of wood.

Nice looking stash of wood and like there are lots of logs left to process. Looking forward to seeing some finished pieces.

Thanks!

I recieved another saw attachment that allows me to cut the edges so the process of making dimensional lumber just got a bit easier, but I aint perfect at it for sure. I am slowly stock-piling some of the 1 inch stuff along with some beams and maybe, just maybe this winter I can build a shed..and do some fencing etc. I think at some point I may try and buy a bandsaw mill for teh sake of my aging shoulders but for now this is working:D
