I just picked up a blue Jet jj-6csx long bed jointer, reliant ( i know it is probably a crappy one) table top mortiser, never used Delta tenoning jig, a set of mortise bits, router table with a craftsmen router , a nice parallel clamp and a sanding drum set .

The jointer has some surface rust and runs like a charm. the mortiser the same. A little elbow grease should do the trick.

Here is the best part. I paid $140 for everything!!

Here is the link to the Jet jointer.

Welcome nice to see you now have your own little gloat thread. I "would" tell you that you suck, however "no pics, didn't happen".

Now, this is not because we here don't believe it we just like to see pics and it is our way of getting to see the loot.

Given you are new I will give you a you suck, bring on the pics and you can have a man sized version...

That is some funny stuff. You just have mortiser and jointer envy.

man, you must really have bargaining skills you can brag about! How did you manage to talk him down from $350 to $140 with extras thrown in?

Still waiting for the pics!

He was just trying to clear his shop and I was more than happy to assist him. What is the best way to post picts? I have them on my computer.

Dan, first thing...GREAT GLOAT!

Second thing, to answer your quesion ,"What is the best way to post pics?"... right side up!

What is the best way to get them in your thread? Ahhhhh, above where you enter your post, you will see the font color (capital A), next to it is the smiley drop down, and next to that is attachments (paper clip). Clip on the paper clip. Then in the new window (wait for it), click browse, select the photo from your computer, then click upload. Your pic will/may have to be reduced in size to get it to upload...there is a size limit. Also, there is a limit of 4 or 5 pics per post, so you'll have to post multiple posts if you have more than the 4 or 5 it allows you to. This way, your pic isn't a link and no one has to click on it to go somewhere else to see it.

Good luck!

I was at work and the work computer does not have the stock Windows editing software to rotate the picts. Sorry. When I get home I will see what I can do.,

Dan, you are a true Samaritan helping that poor fellow out by clearing out some space in his shop. I mean this in the best possible way;http://www.sawmillcreek.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=147964&thumb=1&d=1271047610
