Here is a Boxelder bowl I finished it was comming apart where the bark runs through it,. so I did some epoxy in it and held up realy well for the final turning got some nice color in the wood. The epoxy turned green oh well .

Beauty! I like how the form compliments the character of the wood.

The little touch of green in the epoxy is actually a nice highlight.

I like it. Simple, well balanced form that belies the difficulty of keeping it together. BTW, I think the touch of green color is what I like best. If you did not intentionally do that, you might want to try and remember how you did it because it really looks good.

Yes, if you figure out what you did to turn it green, let us know! That's what you call a design opportunity! Remember, you did it on purpose! ;)

It looks good to me. I kind of like the green on this one. It sure is pretty wood.

It was a gold color epoxy , it must be a reaction with something in the Boxelder , I did soak it in DA for a few day before i did the fix , but it was drying for 3 day before the fix it.???

Good looking bowl Joseph! Love all the colors - especially the green! They all seem to play off each other!
