working table... :)

I'm about to build one. Just a table for work, not for router, nor saws.

I've been using some of those small "X" shaped and I need a serious table.
I think about 24" x 60" and the surface at 32" from the floor.

What do you think?

I have two that I use regular. One is almost 48" wide by about 60" long. It is at 36" tall to be an outfeed for my tablesaw.

The other is about 36" wide x 60" long and much lower. I assemble cabinets and the like on the lower one. It is also on caster to move around. The base is plywood and is essentially two pass through cabinets with doors for storage. Drawers would work as good or better but add some weight.

Look at torsion box design. Cheap, easy and bomb proof.

I only have one bench in my shop, 36" x 96" and my TS with outfeed table that I do most of my hand sanding on.
