Hello All,

Recent turning. The photo setting on the camera was at cloudy day. This seems to be the most natural and warmest setting. I have been editing the photos, but my skills at this need time that the lathe calls for.

Steve - that is a great looking hollow form! Pretty wood - really cool natural edge neck!

Really like this photo. Colors look close to natural and it looks like what I would expect if the photo were taken under a cloudy sky! Keep playing with it!

What are the dimensions of your HF? What finish did you use - sure looks glossy!

Steve,

This is a small hf, 6" tall and 4-1/2" at the shoulder. It is done with the pith running through the center of the piece and lined up ala Ellsworth. It is finished with sanding sealer and four coats of wipe on poly.

Regards, Steve

Very nice Steve. This piece definitely appeals to my rustic tastes. It's the sort of piece I'd put on my desk.

That's a nice one Steve. The shape reminds me of some Native American pottery.
