Thanks Jim, I guess I'll have to reload them. The links worked before I hit the submit button.

Ingredients:

(2) Constructions scraps rescued from the garbage

Roughing the curved rockers in the driveway

Fairing the rockers
152427

A little draw knife work on the inside of the inside curves
152430

Eve helping me chop out a dado to attach the handles
If I look a bit apprehensive, it's because I am. She missed only once. Generally she is pretty careful. I even let her use sharp chisels sometimes.
152432

Eve and Eden screwing the handle to the seat board.
152431

This project has a few rough edges but the customers are pleased.

I had to change the design as I went along. Initially I had the seat board sitting directly on the rockers but that was so low it restricted the rocking action, so I added the spacer blocks.

Peace,
Harlan

That is priceless.

The most enjoyment you will ever get from making something is to make it for your kids or grandkids.
