What goes around, comes around

A local turner had a stroke and can no longer turn. He gave this piece of wood to a friend of mine, who in turn gave it to me. A special colleague of mine had a stroke, is recovering, but must retire. I will give this bowl to her during a retirement party tomorrow.
The bowl is approx. 9 x4 and the walls are about 3/16
