I am going to a craft show Saturday so I am making a few pens to see if they sell.
This first batch are SlimLines.

From Left to right:
Purple Heart in Gold, Dogwood in Gold, Apple in Gold, Bocote(my best guess) in Chrome, Black & White Ebony in Black Titanium, "Piano Key" in Black Titanium.;)
So what kind of wood is piano key you ask.
152352
The black keys from a piano of course.:D Now that was some tight drilling. Not much to work with in wall thickness after it was drilled. The keys are fairly small and aren't long enough to cut into two pieces so there are 2 keys used to make one pen. You can't tell it from the photo but the top is darker then the bottom. The two keys were different colors. The bottom is actually a very dark brown where the upper one is more or less black. I am not sure how or what they are made from but the brown one has a wood grain pattern that was visible during sanding.
Comments and critiques welcome as usual.
