Well it was time for an upgrade. Was biding my time til the Spring/summer sale and looking on CL and at several auctions in the meantime. Struck out on CL and the local auctions so I pulled the plug last week.

This will come in real handy will all that cherry I picked up a couple of weeks ago too.

Very nice... It's much bigger and beefier than the grizzly I've got(which I love). I officially have bandsaw envy.

I like the hat/coat racks in the background .... I'd get shot (ha) if I did that with the multitude of those laying around the house ....;)

Congrats Tony! Nice bandsaw! Use it in good health!

P.S. If you're ever out this way, let me know!:)

Cathy, I only have a select few of the "racks" on the wall. The few others of the small variety were cut up for pen blanks.

Harvey, will do. Same offer extends to you if you are ever out in the Valley.

Congratulations. Looks too clean. I am also not sure about your mobile base - seems to be missing the wheels or do you use a pallet jack?

"New Turning Tool".... Did everybody, like I did, expect to see a new gouge, or hollowing system... Nice saw Tony. Enjoy it in Good Health!

For those who inquired, it's on the pallet because the height seems to be appropriate for me. It's not powered yet so I'm not convinced that the pallet will be my best choice. It doesn't need to be mobile so it will either remain on the pallet or rest on the floor itself.

I hope to have it powered up sometime this morning.

The only thing I found to be iffy about the instructions is when they state that set up time is one hour. That must be if you have a crew working with you.

Tony, does this mean that you need a bigger lathe now? Nice new turning tool.

"The only thing I found to be iffy about the instructions is when they state that set up time is one hour. That must be if you have a crew working with you".

Tony, Other than the electrical, installing the cord, the set up on my Grizz was amazingly easy. Everything was aligned very well from the factory.

No new lathe needed Richard. I've had my PM3520B for a few years now.

Finished with the electrical this morning and now have it bolted to the floor and ready to go.

Mike, I've seen very long tool rests, but I know of no one who would be able to hold this beast up there.:D
