Here is a small maple cup turned about 1/8th inch thick, 3" diameter and 3 1/4" tall. Notice the little split on the foot. This didn't show up until I had made the base a little thinner. Finished with shellac. Don't know why but the curve appears to have a flat spot about half way down the bowl part. It is not there in real life and it doesn't show up in the other picture.
