Can anyone recommend a good place to get rough sawn white oak in Northern NJ?
Thanks
Dennis

I got my QSWO from Riesen Lumber in Kenilworth, 908-276-6200. Not exactly northern, but it'd be worth a phone call. In Trenton I used Willard Bros. Also not north but a starting point.

I've had only so-so results with woodfinder. There is a lumber store 5 minutes from my house that never comes up, for example.

ML Condon is well-regarded, and hopefully not too far from you.

I'll second ML Condon. Really an old-fashioned kind of place, full of gorgeous woods of all sorts, and you are free to wander about and pick your pieces. I love that place.

Hi,

Monteath, in Old Bridge - http://www.monteath.com/.

Very nice people. Good prices.
