Folks,
After reasembling my Delta lathe (2 years *after* moving...he hides in shame ), I have noticed the upper v-belt isa a bit chewed up.
The lathe I have is the Delta/Rockwell "infinetely" adjustable speed with two "one sided" pulleys that mesh together to change the effective diameter and thus, change speeds.
Has anyone use a link belt in this situation?
I'm concerned that a link belt would get caught in the "fingers" where the two pulleys mesh together...
The lathe kinda looks like:

Thanks for any insight,
