This may be a bit off-topic but it is for a woodworking project, so here it goes.
I need a few clips like the one pictured. I found the image while searching "spring clip", but I am unable to find any sources to purchase. Does anyone know where I can find some to purchase? Maybe it has a technical name that might make it easier to locate? Thanks!

I don't think it is a standard part. If you can post the dimensions and what it is used for, perhaps somebody can come up with a substitute.

Maybe a big binder clip could substitute? Drill a hole in the end and take off the "handles" of the clip? :)

One possible source is: Spring Clips (http://www.seastrom-mfg.com/seastrom_manufacturing_catalog/SpringClips.htm)

The project is a rifle stock I am making. There will be a mortise in the stock about 1/2" W x 2"L x 1.5" D. The clip will be inserted into the bottom of the mortise and will hold the extra rifle magazines in the slot.

That looks remarkably like a spring clip for papers. Replaces staples. I'm not sure about the size but if I'm right then you should be able to get them from a stationery.

They are usually applied with a special tool. I've tried googling but cannot find any pictures.

It's a spring clip used to attach Vinyl shutters to the house.
Screw it to the side of the house next to the window.
The Vinyl shutter has a rib on the back side that snaps right into the clip.
When it's time to repaint the house, use a pole with a hook to jerk it off the wall so the wasp that built their nest behind it can't get you.

Also looks a lot like a battery clip meant for 9V batteries. Without any sort of referencing dimension its hard to say what it is.

Angle on the photo in the Radio Shack link is not the same. Their photo shows two clips side-by-side.
