In view of the overall quality of ShopFox (Grizzly) machinery, the little sander will probably serve you well....IF....you only work with small stock. If you even remotely contemplate wider panel-sanding in your future, consider a wider machine.

I found the Griz 24" double drum sander adequate, but slow, for panel sanding. There is no hurrying with any drum sander! Many passes, in very small increments. The velcro drum backing makes paper changes a pleasure rather than a nightmare.
