Nice Hard Maple burl W/Black walnut vase

I have been working on this one for about a month now and finally got a couple coats of finish on it and I think it lookd good. It is 15" tall and about 9" across at the widest. The light band in the collar is a clear piece of hard maple to offset the Black walnut. Now I have to finish the bottom and buff it out and hope someone needs it real bad for their collection!

Hate to say it but it does bear a resemblance to the one in my closet.:) Great piece of burl and it is quite striking!
