I don't know much about this lathe. The fellow that gave it to me said he didn't have a use for it. So, for 0$, it is now sitting in my shop.
Apparently, it's a 1948 HomeCraft 11"x36" judging by the SN plate and info on OWWM. This lathe has been well cared for. It has the multi speed selection pulleys underneath, and original Westinghouse motor.

What a sweet little lathe you got there, even has the jack shaft. I would say the price is the best I have seen. Nice gloat :D

In the 60's I had that model Delta. I am sorry I ever let it go,but for several years later on,I had no place to keep it,and had other facilities I could use. These old machines have a charm that newer ones just don't have. It seems like designers just don't often care to produce nice designs anymore. Maybe the more detailed patterns just are cheaper. Now it's often just boxes sitting on other boxes. I really hate that.
